    Joseph J. Sitt is CEO of Thor Retail Advisors and President & CEO of Thor Equities, a global real estate leader. Thor Equities owns prime property in the United States, Europe and Latin America, with a $10 billion portfolio and development pipeline totaling more than 20 million square feet.

    Mr. Sitt is also Chairman of TOWN Residential, Chairman of Thor Urbana Mexico, and Chairman and Managing Principal of Thor Urban Property Funds.

    Mr. Sitt serves on the board of the Real Estate Roundtable in Washington D.C., the Department of Real Estate at Baruch College, and is a member of the Partnership for New York City. He also serves on the board of the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation. He is a managing director of Venetian Heritage, which works to restore the Jewish museum and ancient synagogues of the Ghetto of Venice. Mr. Sitt is also Chairman and Founder of Global Gateway Alliance, a non-profit organization established to address the major challenges facing the New York-New Jersey region’s aging airport system and related infrastructure.

    He was awarded the 2014 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, and has been named by the New York Observer in its annual list as one of the Most Powerful People in New York Real Estate. Harvard professor Michael Porter and the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) have also honored him for his commitment to fostering healthy competitive business conditions and new opportunities in inner city neighborhoods.

    Mr. Sitt founded women’s clothing retailer Ashley Stewart, expanding the company to 380 stores in over 100 cities. Its phenomenal growth prompted many national retailers to take notice of opportunities in the urban marketplace. In 1998, he decided to divest his interest in Ashley Stewart and focus exclusively on Thor Equities.

    Matthew A. Seigel is Executive Vice President of Thor Retail Advisors. Mr. Seigel has focused his professional career exclusively on retail services, representing many national and international retailers, as well as both institutional and individual landlords. He has completed transactions in some of the highest profile locations in New York and across the country. In 2014 alone, Mr. Seigel executed more than 20 retail transactions totaling over 185,000 square feet, with a lease value of $215 million.

    Mr. Seigel has an unmatched breadth of experience representing retailers, with a unique knowledge base of transactional experience on behalf of a wide range of brands. His professional experience includes hundreds of transactions from luxury fashion to financial institutions, and everything in between.

    Mr. Seigel is a leader in developing and executing “brick-and-mortar” real estate strategies to the best known e-commerce brands including Warby Parker, Trunk Club, Birchbox, BaubleBar and many others. Similarly, he has unparalleled experience working with international and domestic companies looking for retail opportunities in new markets. Mr. Seigel has represented Trademark, Feit, Kent & Curwen and many others opening their first U.S. locations.

    In addition to providing expertise to the most cutting edge e-commerce brands, Mr. Seigel also has completed numerous transactions representing some of the world’s most renowned retailers including Dolce & Gabbana, Brioni, Theory, Helmut Lang, Balenciaga, and many others. On behalf of Dolce & Gabbana, he secured locations in New York, Chicago, Hawaii, Aspen, Miami and Houston. Mr. Seigel is currently collaborating with Kenneth Cole to reposition the brand’s real estate in accordance with its new strategy, as well as representing Blue Bottle Coffee throughout the Northeast.

    Mr. Seigel has represented many institutional and individual landlords, always with the goal of achieving the highest and best use for the property. His approach to landlord representation is unequaled, whether representing a property owner with one asset or a multi-national real estate investor. Mr. Seigel leverages his unique experience representing tenants to deliver optimal results for the firm’s landlord representatives. Currently, he is representing Delshah Capital, Valinor, Moinian Organization and many others. In the past, he has represented Related, TIAA-CREF, Safra and Malkin Properties.

    Prior to joining Thor Retail Advisors, Mr. Seigel was a Senior Director with Cushman & Wakefield Retail Services, where he represented Nike, Ann Taylor and TD Bank, completing over 30 retail transactions.

    Mr. Seigel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Real Estate Board of New York.

    Dan N. Harroch is a Senior Vice President at Thor Retail Advisors. Mr. Harroch specializes in strategic real estate solutions for global retailers. His expertise includes providing individually developed leasing campaigns, from site selection and lease negotiation to dispositions, delivering optimal solutions for his clients. He implements complex, multi-city retail plans in a variety of asset classes including luxury and high street storefronts, showrooms, malls and outlet centers.

    Mr. Harroch has worked closely with numerous retailers in their expansion across New York City, throughout the United States and internationally. His clients include LVMH, Kering, Levi’s, All Saints, Gant, Theory, Inditex Group, Schutz, Caché, Track & Field, Tincati Milano, Benetton, Richard Mille, Philipp Plein, Aurelie Bidermann, Balmain, Sushishop, IRO, Isabel Marant, A. Testoni, Laduree, Macklowe Gallery, Kanye West, Frey Wille, Paule Ka, Opera Gallery, Orianne Collins, PHILLIPS, La Martina, Serafina, Soulcycle and Citibank.

    He has also represented many institutional landlords including The Carlyle Group, Macklowe Properties, Acadia Realty Trust, Highgate Holdings, Lehman Brothers, Empire Capital, UBA Equities, Mercer Sunshine, Venture Capital Properties and Gould Investors.

    Prior to joining Thor Retail Advisors, Mr. Harroch was a Managing Director with PBS Real Estate. He is a native of Monaco and has lived in Paris, Tokyo and China, giving him a sophisticated knowledge of global business centers as well as high-level connections in the international fashion and retail industries.

    Mr. Harroch is a graduate of UPMC and ISG Paris with Masters in Business and Mathematics. He is fluent in both English and French, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Board of New York. He has recently been consulting with Harvard Business School to develop business cases on retail development for luxury tenants and commercial real estate.

    Laurence Karsenti is Head of Retail Leasing at Thor Equities affiliate Thor Retail Advisors. Ms. Karsenti is based in Thor’s Paris office at 101 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, where she is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s growing European leasing business.

    Previously, Ms. Karsenti was Head of Retail and Partner at Knight Frank in France, where she represented such leading companies as Maje, L’Occitane, VF Group, Thor Equities, Generali and AXA. Specializing in high street retail, she has leased flagship stores for top brands including Uniqlo, Pret A Manger, Zara, Kipling, Rimowa, Opera Gallery and 7 for All Mankind.

    At Knight Frank, Ms. Karsenti also advised investors for their leasing and capital market needs. Her clients included Thor Equities, Ponte Gadea, Invesco, BMO, and CBRE Global Investors.

    Prior to joining Knight Frank, Ms. Karsenti was a senior broker at Jones Lang LaSalle. She has a Master’s Degree in business from Paris Dauphine University.

    Skye Taylor is a Director at Thor Retail Advisors. She is known for her expertise as a retail real estate advisor and consultant to tenants and landlords throughout New York City and nationally.

    On the tenant side, Ms. Taylor specializes in contemporary fashion and e-commerce brands. She represents Dolce & Gabbana and Theory nationally, and is currently developing and implementing a national store repositioning rollout for Kenneth Cole. She also represents and has worked with e-commerce brands including Warby Parker, Trunk Club, Birchbox, BaubleBar, Cuyana and Rhone Apparel.

    Currently, Ms. Taylor represents prominent New York City landlords including Delshah Capital, Harbor Group International, and Premier Equities. She has also worked with Moinian Group and Malkin Properties.

    Ms. Taylor began her career in real estate at TOWN Residential, one of New York City’s leading residential brokerage firms. Prior to that, she spent time at Chanel in business planning and development.

    She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and French at Union College.

    Rachel Edmunds has over four years of experience in the retail real estate field, both on the principal and advisory side of the business. She began her career with Thor Equities, providing support to the company’s acquisitions and capital market teams.

    After accumulating a great deal of institutional knowledge of the national retail real estate landscape, she decided to bring her expertise to Thor Retail Advisors, where she manages critical operations including reporting, marketing, demographic analysis, market research and tenant coordination throughout the transaction cycle.

    In addition, Ms. Edmunds has experience in the development and execution of national retail roll out plans, including phased site selection, market information and site selection. She also manages outreach and business development in several capacities including project lead for major real estate trade shows such as MIPIM in Cannes, and EXPO Real in Munich.

    As a canvasser with Thor Retail Advisors, Ms. Edmunds has worked with numerous prominent national and international brands including Theory, Blue Bottle Coffee, G-Star, Credo Beauty, and Make Up For Ever. She has developed a niche in advising during the transition from e-commerce to brick-and-mortar for retail brands including Warby Parker, Trunk Club, Cuyana, and Rhone Apparel.

    Ms. Edmunds has worked with many institutional retail landlords in New York including Delshah Capital, Harbor Group International and Premier Equities. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Point Park University in Pittsburgh.

    Ms. Hyman applies her retail knowledge by collaborating at the brand level with numerous contemporary fashion and e-commerce retailers. In addition, she works to develop and execute unique and customized retail strategic plans.

    Currently, she represents global retail brands including Theory, Kenneth Cole and Make Up For Ever. Additionally she has developed a strong niche practice working with prominent e-commerce brands including The Black Tux, Warby Parker and Trunk Club.

    Ms. Hyman also represents select and distinguished New York City landlords to reposition and lease retail vacancies, thereby maximizing value for her clients. She represents Harbor Group International, Delshah Capital and Premier Equities in their leasing efforts.

    Prior to joining Thor Retail Advisors, Ms. Hyman worked as a retail research analyst with CBRE’s New York Tri-State Retail Services group, where she represented the interests of more than 25 retail brokers.

    Ms. Hyman is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and Urban Land Institute (ULI). She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in 2013.

    Payal Doshi couples her passion for fashion and design with a lifetime of real estate exposure. At Thor Retail Advisors, she utilizes her sophisticated design background to develop customized property marketing brochures that incorporate retail market trends, demographic information, pedestrian traffic counts, and individualized commuting patterns. In addition, she creates proprietary analyses including retail competition landscapes, phased retail roll-out plans, and targeted site selections.

    Ms. Doshi capitalizes on her experience as an early stage fashion designer to help provide real estate solutions to emerging fashion brands including FEIT, Credo Beauty and Carson Street Clothiers. Additionally, she has facilitated retail real estate strategies for e-commerce brands including The Black Tux, Jack Thread and Bauble Bar.

    She also helps institutional landlords maximize value by identifying emerging brands that are well suited for select properties. Ms. Doshi works on behalf of Delshah Capital and has represented Moinian Properties.

    Prior to joining Thor Retail Advisors, she graduated from the University of Michigan with Honors concentrating on entrepreneurship.

    Tom McHugh is a Director at Thor Retail Advisors, having joined the London office in 2012. He has since exclusively advised tenants on expansion in the UK and Europe.

    Mr. McHugh has built up an extensive portfolio of clients in a variety of fields including fashion, cosmetics, homewares and restaurants. While Central London is his specialist market, he has formed strong partnerships with European brokers that allows him to work for brands on a pan-European basis.

    With these connections and market knowledge, he is able to carry out research and compile expansion reports for retained clients such as Tory Burch and Mulberry.

    Mr. McHugh’s most recent work includes the acquisition of a landmark Central London restaurant, and advising New York-based cosmetics brand Malin + Goetz on their expansion into the UK, having secured two stores already.

    In order to satisfy client demand for central London office space, Mr. McHugh has also successfully acquired offices for several clients in recent months including locations in Mayfair, Marylebone, Fitzrovia and Paddington.

    Mr. McHugh is originally from Oxford and lived in Paris and Buenos Aires before settling in London. He has a Master of Science degree in International Real Estate from Oxford Brookes University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages from Newcastle University specializing in French and Spanish.
